We've taken the term "weed connoisseur" to a whole new level by visiting close to a hundred weed cafes in Bangkok. If anyone asks, our excuse is that we were there for business. After countless hits, some misses, and many munchies, we've narrowed down our current favorites (in no particular order) as of June 2023.
Arcadia Barcade (Phrakanong)
Visiting a cannabis cafe doesn't need to be transactional and Arcadia is the living proof of that.

Arcadia has a strategically small selection of high-quality curated strains in rotation, to make sure they only offer the best of the best (our current favorite is Sweetie). It is also a haven for people looking for a place to hang out with friends, drink excellent beer, play classic video games, and listen to a fantastic '80s soundtrack all while in a sci-fi neon noir setting.
Tucked away in a quiet Soi in Phrakanong, vaporware-like aesthetics will let you live out your Blade Runner 2049 dreams. This barcade offers a great selection of craft beer and choice drinks including delicious Kratom on tap. The owner even, and we quote, "Built the machines by hand from scraps of wood and electronics, created the UIs, curated the game selections and painstakingly configured them for a complete and authentic arcade experience. This one is my homage to Blade Runner".
If that doesn't show commitment, we don't know what does.

Look at this stuff, isn't it neat, wouldn't you think my collection's complete? One cannot help but sing The Little Mermaid's secret cave song upon seeing High Med's extensive selection ranging from grow soil, fertilizers, seeds, Psyduck bongs, semi-precious stone pipes, and ... water guns for some reason!

Truly a one-stop shop for Cannabis enthusiasts, High Med Cannabis Dispensary is a total game-changer. The buzz on the street is that it's the go-to spot for both local and international brands including a range of top-notch cannabis buds and other interesting knick-knacks. RoLoft (Khao San)
There is no better way to describe Roloff other than an oasis of calm in the midst of all the chaos of Khaosan.

So, the next time you drop by Khao San, make sure you reach the end of the road and loof for a robot icon with cannabis eyes.
